Arahoe Community Group (ACG)

Who We Are

The Arahoe Community Group is a group of parents and teachers who are involved in running both community and fundraising events within the school.

We run a number of events the year such as discos, mufti days, family night and the back to school bbq along with specialty lunch days such as sushi and pizza. There are also other opportunities that come along that we also support.

When do we meet?

The committee meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 7.15pm in the staff room.

These meetings are open to anyone who would like to come along to learn about what we do or to join the group.

Meeting reminders or date changes are sent out via the school app and our Facebook page.

How can you get involved?

If you are interested in getting involved either as a committee member or as a “friend” of the ACG please message us.

You can do this either by:

2018 ACG Focus

It's Arahoe School's 60th birthday this year so some of our events will have this as a theme. We are very excited to also be releasing our 'Arahoe School: 60 years in the Making' cookbook. We will be running our Gala in October so keep an eye out for how you could be involved in this. One of our main fundraising focuses will be contributing to the funding of shade sails and other shade options around the school.
