Enjoy the holidays!

We would like to wish all of our students and whānau a relaxing break over the school holidays. Hopefully you will get to spend lots of time with the people you care most about.

We'll look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Monday 29 April when we start the term with a pōwhiri at 9am to welcome new families and staff.

In the meantime, if you're missing us, take a look at some of our photos from the day WhatNow? filmed at school late last term, or of some of the action from our school cross country day.

Ka kite ano!

Haere mai ki a koutou katoa – a warm welcome to Arahoe School.

We are a vibrant and dynamic multicultural school in New Lynn, West Auckland. We like to give our ākonga/students every opportunity to explore, grow and succeed in all areas – not just the core curriculum areas of literacy and maths. We are passionate about science, history, technology and the arts as well as physical pursuits, and our students are given a wonderful variety of contexts in which to find out how to be the best version of themselves. Diversity is welcome here and every student's uniqueness is valued, nurtured and celebrated.

I am lucky enough to work with a team of outstanding educators and support staff, backed by a talented and dedicated School Board.

I look forward to seeing your child, you, and your whānau around our school over your time here.

Ngā mihi nui / warm regards
