Arahoe School places high value in the 'Performing Arts' and has seized the opportunity, through our CRT programme, to offer a Music/Dance Programme to all students from New Entrants through to Year 6 students.
The teacher in charge of this programme is Mrs. Michelle Sadgrove. She releases teachers from their classes so they can test individual children, record their results, and plan for their future learning. (Classroom release for all Primary school teachers is a requirement from the Ministry of Education)
Children are sent to the Music Room while their teacher is on classroom release. This room is situated at the end of the hall and has large yellow doors that are usually shut, separating the music room from the main hall. If you attend a whole school assembly, these yellow doors will be opened and you will see the purpose built music room that lies beyond them.
