PSG Request for Help!!!
Recently the PSG recieved a generous donation of grapefruit and oranges, which are going to be used to make jams and marmalades for the upcoming school fair on Nov 1st. We are now in need of donations of sugar. Ideally we are after approx 20kgs so if you are in a position to donate 500g to 1kg, every bit helps. For more information please click on the link below.
We are also in need of citric acid or glass bottles as we have decided to make cordial. The cordial will be sold as a concentrate mix at the school at the school fair - good ole fashioned lemonade. If you are able to donate any of these items, please drop off to Room 21. Click here to see more details.
Thank you to everyone who attended the Remembrance Ceremony this morning and the unveiling of our World War 1 commemorative art. It was lovely to have so many of you join us.
Scholastic Book Orders
Due back by Monday the 4th August.
Safety at the School Gate
This term our school is participating in Auckland Transports 'Safety at the School Gate' programme. Drivers who stop in the wrong place to drop off passengers put the safety of children at risk. Parking officers will be on patrol outside the school this term and will be issuing tickets to drivers who park illegally. For more information please click on this link.
Thinking Green 'Athon'
In Term 3 we will be holding our annual 'Athon'. This year's Thinking Green 'athon' will focus on factual knowledge relating to the school's 'Green' learning theme. Children will be asked to gather sponsors for the number of questions they answer correctly. The PSG uses all proceeds from fundraising to support our children. In week 2 your child will receive a letter that will provide further details about this event.
